Horsforth Walk of Art

In celebration of 10 years of the Horsforth Walk of art, I coordinated the creation of a collaborative community artwork with local children from Brownberrie Lane Preschool and two creative parents.

The artwork is designed to bring some colour and community spirit to Horsforth train station. Making up a large "HORSFORTH" banner to welcome train users to the station, each letter represents one of the previous themes of the Walk of Art (with one year skipped due to COVID-19) and the local children performed related mark-making activities such as rolling paint covered wheels for "Transport" and stencilling hot air balloons for "Up in the Air" to produce the colourful backgrounds to the illustrations.

The artwork is due to be installed at Horsforth train station by Northern Rail.
